SCOTTSDALE, AZ — March 16, 2026 — Against the warm backdrop of an Arizona spring afternoon, friends and supporters of the Wagner Faith & Freedom Center gathered at the elegant Olive & Ivy restaurant for a memorable luncheon centered on faith, encouragement, and shared purpose.
The event brought together members of the Spring Arbor University community and like-minded guests celebrating of faith, connection, and calling. From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere reflected genuine joy and anticipation. Smiles, warm greetings, and meaningful conversations filled the room as attendees reconnected with old friends and welcomed new ones into a growing community committed to advancing faith and freedom.
Inspiring remarks from a State Supreme Court Justice, SAU's President Brent Ellis, and the Hon. William Wagner (ret), challenged and encouraged those present. The speakers cast a compelling vision for the future grounded in timeless truth and focused on faith, family, freedom, and Christian higher education.
The luncheon served as a reminder that meaningful change begins in community. As attendees listened, reflected, and engaged, a common theme emerged. All of us have a role to play in preserving and advancing the principles of faith and freedom for the next generation.
Throughout the afternoon, the setting itself, marked by beauty, hospitality, and thoughtful detail, mirrored the spirit of the event. It was a space where ideas flourished, relationships deepened, and encouragement was freely given. The Wagner Faith & Freedom Center continues its mission of equipping individuals to engage culture with clarity, conviction, and courage. We do so to preserve freedom of thought, conscience, and religion while investing in future leaders.
As the luncheon summit concluded, attendees left not only inspired, but renewed. They departed with a deeper sense of purpose and a strengthened commitment to live out their faith boldly in every sphere of influence. In a world often marked by uncertainty, the Scottsdale luncheon summit stood as a powerful testament to the truth that when people come together in faith and shared mission, hope rises.
