About the event

Pioneers Home Education Support Services of Jackson, Michigan (turning hearts towards homeschool since 1994) will be hosting a Legislative Briefing and Prayer Meeting on Monday evening, January 8th at 7:30 pm at FAHOLO Christian Conference Center Mezzanine,(3000 Mt Hope Rd, Grass Lake, MI 49240 with an update on the current status of potential homeschool legislation and how it could impact your freedoms. *Note this meeting is purposely scheduled to follow Senator Shink's Coffee in Grass Lake on Monday evening at 6 pm (The Lost Railway Museum,142 W. Michigan Ave Grass Lake, MI 49240). Your attendance at both events would be so valuable and appreciated.

Guest Speakers include former federal judge, and a Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Constitutional Law -- and homeschool dad William Wagner. William is the Distinguished Chair of the Wagner Faith & Freedom Center at Spring Arbor University. We are also privileged to have with us Israel Wayne, Vice President of MiCHN (Michigan Christian Homeschool Network) our statewide legislative and support group, with us who will be sharing important updates on his recent communication with state legislators and government leaders.

There will be a time of prayer following the legislative update. The next senate session begins January 10th, so this is a great opportunity to come together to intercede before the Lord for our leaders, the state of Michigan, and possible laws that could impact our ability to disciple our children at home!

All homeschoolers will want to be in attendance at both of these important meetings if possible, regardless of their convictions and reasons for home educating! The Legislative Update meeting will allow an opportunity for parents/grandparents to also get their questions answered regarding Homeschool Law here in Michigan.
